A good piece of software, very fast engine. Software support via website of LiveJournal is off putting, tried to post and it is challenging to say the least. I would give this software 5 stars if zooming of the window available to work in would be feasible and if resolution of the Full screen version would be adjustable.

This is a great product I use every day. Solid, transparent connection through TS gateway.

First off, Im glad I can (for the most part) trust the community reviews. You guys were reason I went ahead and purchased this even though Ive got a couple of other solutions. JD allows me to easily control both MSFT RDP and VNC. Being able to immediately and easily connect to any set of systems, along with the added security of RSA PKI key files is a tremendous bonus, particularly for those of us who are concerned about VNC connection encryption. I still unfortunately need to administer MSFT machines, the MSFT RDP client for Mac is buggy and trashy. Its almost as if they wrote it like that on purpose. Whatever.

If you need to connect to a Microsoft Remote Desktop Services Server then this is what you want. Jump Desktop hands down beats any other RDP client out there, including the terrible Microsoft provided RDP client. Save yourself time and headache and just purchase this. It supports the latest RDP protocol version which will give you a superfast remote desktop experience. I recommend this to all my clients with Mac computers.

I have had a few RDP and VNC, and this does a nice job of joining the 2. I also like the Shell Commands for the sluggish connections. I wish I could customize the RDP a little more than the defaults. When logging onto my wifes system, I would like it if I could not show the wallpaper.

I have my old windows computer down stairs. Sometimes I need to access powerpoint or old files. Saves me from running downstairs which makes my life easier.

One of the easiest to use Remote Desktop that I’ve used. I’m pretty sure there are still a lot of improvements in store for us in the future.

I was happy with Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection client for Mac until I needed to RDP to a Windows Server 2012 R2 box. The Microsoft RDP client refused to connect saying: "Remote Desktop Connection cannot verify the identity of the computer that you want to connect to”. So, I ended up buying this crap based on reviews and price. Within minutes I knew I made a terrible mistake. This product does not even give you an error. You provide the hostname/ip, user. password and domain and click connect, nothing happens, nothing at all. No error, no nothing. I tried to connect to both Windows server 2012 R2 and Windows 8.1 hosts. If I purchased this product at BestBuy or any brick and mortar store, I would have returned it immediately. This has been one of the most frustrating online buying experiences, especially because there’s no way to test the product before actual purchase. If anyone can show me how to make it work with Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows 8.1 without compromising security, I will update this comment and give the product a better rating. Until then this is most likely a fake application.

I installed it an din less than a minute I was connected remotely to my Windows remote computer in my network. Tried copy pase of text and works OK, but tried to move files as I do with Teamviewer for example, and will not do anything. Good for remote control, not so good for intensive interaction between both computes as it will not tranfer files by copy paste, Hope they add this feature.

I needed an RDP client for use on my local Windows Domain so that my MacBook Pro could access the firewall (ISA Server, 2006 version) via RDP. My firewall computer has no monitor or keyboard connected, so I use RDP. This client worked immediately by my adding the firewall’s IP address to the little “Quick Connect” box and pressing enter. I did that and my Windows firewall’s login prompt immediately appeared. Later I discovered that the software allows one to create multiple “saved servers”, which allows you to save the username and password, along with things like needed window size, color depth, and quite a few other window parameters. Then you just have to double-click the saved server and the software opens the RDP client window, enters your username and password for you, and sizes the window according to your specifications (up to full screen). You can add keyboard hotkeys, and use remote printers and disk drives too. This is a well thought out RDP client. Now, I can use my Mac to access my servers and firewall. Excellent remote client for a low price!

Doesn’t work at all. The whole I reason I went searching for some new Remote Desktop softeware is because Microsoft’s software is buggy. I ended up finding CoRD, which is an open source solution that doesn’t work at all and was abandoned years ago. Then I come across this, and what do you know? It’s literally idenetical to CoRD. It’s just wrapped up in a new icon and name. Same experience - doesn’t work.
